Hell Creek Simulation (Neural-Networks, Growth, Locomotion.)
A physiologically modeled simulation of the Hell Creek ecosystem, set in the final years before the K-Pg extinction.
Each animal is driven by an underlying physiology system — motor development from hatchling to adult, energy, hydration, blood volume, core temperature, and growth — rather than pre-scripted animation.
Included species:
• Tyrannosaurids: Tyrannosaurus rex
• Ceratopsians: Triceratops horridus, Triceratops prorsus, Torosaurus latus, Leptoceratops gracilis
• Hadrosaurs: Edmontosaurus annectens
• Ankylosaurs: Ankylosaurus magniventris, Denversaurus schlessmani
• Pachycephalosaurs: Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis, Sphaerotholus buchholtzae
• Ornithopods: Thescelosaurus garbanii, Thescelosaurus neglectus
• Ornithomimids: Ornithomimus velox, Struthiomimus sedens
• Dromaeosaurids: Acheroraptor temertyorum, Dakotaraptor steini
• Troodontids: Pectinodon bakkeri
• Caenagnathids: Anzu wyliei, Trierarchuncus prairiensis
All dinosaurs are not animated, hatchlings have to learn how to walk from simulation start.
This simulation also includes a god panel—you can modify growth, (raising a tyrannosauruses weight/growth stage all the way up to the biological maximum, (15 tons)) or you can literally press one button, and watch the ejecta roll over the basin as the NN’s struggle to figure out what is happening.
Also the dinosaurs can actually see, their digital eyes ‘renders’ what they see, the neural network translates it, and moves based on it. (It’s very complicated).
The environment:
Real hell creek basin, inspired by Prehistoric Planet, lush wetlands, interconnected river streams, and violent weather (thunderstorms, heavy rain).
All plant fauna was researched and confirmed to be present in Hell Creek or at the least, inferred to have been present, (some plants necessary for atmospheric purposes)
Graphics:
There is no way to get 4k graphics, since I do have to test on a device with 8gb of ram. But I can say I’m working on optimizing it heavily so we can get something close. Maybe.
Again, this is a WIP. It will not be released for a long time, as AI continues to improve, expect the project to grow in scale as well.
